Subject: [mtn-raves] Yet Another Review of Sound of Music
As everyone said before...I will say it again...thanx to the Zoop kidz for not
only relocating this partee but also for being able to make this partee go off
despite the unfortunate mishap. It was cool to see Zoop actually do something
about a police bust unlike many production companies "whom will remain
nameless" up here in Denver who just tell everyone to go home and they'll
throw a so-called "free" partee later. Thanx again and mad props to ya.
It seems like to me a lot of times partees here get stuck on one particular
genre and stay stuck on that particular genre. I happen to find this to be
extremely boring. This wasn't the case with the Sound of Music the dj's each
brought with them their own unique style and flavor and each one was able to
keep the crowd moving. Keep up the energy guys...you all rocked!!!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to dance as much as I could have due to being
tired and in some discomfort.Thanx for at least having the ability to make me
dance all nite had I not had any problems
and regardless of how much I was able to dance I enjoyed everything I heard
and that's what counts :)
Tiltz - Nice way to open a partee. You caught my attention with some tracks
and got me pumped up for the rest of the nite...this is usually not the case
for me as it usually takes me awhile when I first get to a partee to really
get to where I can even somewhat dance but you did the trick.
Slippy - you know how much I liked your set. It was nice to hear some
Platipus, it was smooothe...it's been awhile since I've heard any at a partee
and to top it off it was laid down nicely in your set. Your whole set was very
well put together.
Spiral - Yet another good set...I didn't get a chance to hear all of it but
what I did hear, I liked.

DMX - The opening of your set I think caught a lot of people's
attention...good way to start off a set and of course hip hop is always an
added treat to hearing your set. It was Intergalactic ;)
Joey M. - I thought your set was a lot of phun and it made me smile. I really
liked the way you mixed in that Joe Pesci (sp?) sample (I think that's what it
was anyway - it was in the beginning of your set). If I hadn't the stomach
pains and hadn't been so tired I would have danced all the way through your
set. It was very unique and was done with style. Go Joey, go Joey, go, go, go
Joey :)
Ishe - Wow!! I heard you spin at the 303 Invasion but you were absolutely
amazing...mmm electro breaks...I liked. It was yummmy!!! Can I please have a
tape?
Dae - Sorry kiddo I didn't get to hear your whole set :( The jungle was a nice
touch and added yet another flavor to the partee.
Smile:)
